Before starting the equipment, tighten the head and the flange screws of the plastic granulator again to prevent the screws and head from sliding due to thermal expansion. Pay attention when tightening the head screws. Tighten along the diagonal evenly. When tightening the flange nuts of the machine head, please pay attention to the same tightness around the sides. Otherwise, it will slip off.

There are differences in the critical points of the operating methods of the plastic granulator, but there are similarities.
The distinction of plasticization situation requires technical experience. Some surfaces are shiny, free of impurities, no foaming, scorching, and discoloration. The extruded material is squeezed to a certain degree without burrs and cracks and has a certain degree of elasticity, which means that the material is better plasticized. If the plasticization is relatively poor, the rotation speed of the extruder screw, the working temperature of the barrel, and the screen changer can be adjusted appropriately until it meets the requirements. Regularly check whether the mechanical equipment data is normal according to the equipment requirements, and fill in the equipment maintenance record sheet. Check the quality of granular products according to product quality inspection technical specifications, and take corrective measures when problems are found.
1. Squeeze out the remaining material in the granulator equipment and stop feeding. When the extruder screw is exposed, turn off the barrel and the screen changer to switch the power supply, and stop heating. Stop the extruder screw and auxiliary machine.
2. Turn off the switch power supply of the granulator equipment and auxiliary equipment, and clean the screen changer. Clean the outlet of the screen changer. In order to prevent damage to the surface of the screen changer during cleaning, first, disassemble the connecting flange of the screen changer. The remaining material in the screen changer should be cleaned with steel sheets and then use sandpaper to stick the remaining material in the screen changer. The material is ground, polished, and coated with engine oil or hydraulic oil to prevent rust.
3. After removing the screen changer, clean the extruder screw and barrel.
4. Restart the main engine, and add the stopped material (or crushed material) to clean the extruder screw and barrel. At this time, the extruder screw uses a low speed to reduce screw wear. After the stopped material is ground into powder and completely extruded, compressed air can be used to continuously blow out the residual material from the feed port and the exhaust port until there is no residual material in the barrel and the rotation speed of the extruder screw is reduced to zero. Stop the granulator equipment, turn off the main switch power supply and the main cold water valve.
